Finding JBL Charge 3 Firmware Version

Here, we show how finding JBL Charge 3 firmware version is done on this Bluetooth speaker. Now you may wish to know the exact version number, while troubleshooting speaker connection and other problems.  Thus, to get the release info of the firmware installed on your Charge 3, you’ll need a mobile device with Bluetooth, the JBL Connect+ app installed on that device. Plus, you’ll also need the Charge 3 speaker itself. Displaying the currently installed firmware version takes less than a minute.

Then after a brief pause, the speaker announces the digits of the firmware version currently installed in a female voice.  Our said, “7 3 0”.  This agrees with the version we see in the app, in the next section.
