Here we answer the question: How to change Alexa wake word to Jarvis?
You can indeed change the wake word that Alexa speakers answer to when you say it. But you can’t change it to Jarvis. At least, you can’t do this through the Alexa app. Currently, there are only five choices for the name that an Alexa speaker responds to, and those are, “Alexa…,” “Amazon…,” “Computer…,” “Echo…”, and “Ziggy…”
The wake word is what you call out when you want this popular voice assistant to awaken, and start listening for a follow-up command / question. It’s how you “get its attention,” so to speak. This setting is not customizable beyond these choices above; at least, not yet.
You might change this wake word for a particular Alexa speaker, so that they don’t all respond at once when you call her. You set this name on a per speaker-basis. So if you have multiple speakers around the house, you could assign each one a different wake word
Following are instructions on how to set this watch word for a specific Echo device connected to your Amazon account.
