How to Make JBL Flip 6 Discoverable

To pair the Flip 6 with a device, you have to first put the JBL Flip 6 in discovery mode.  In that mode, the speaker transmits its Bluetooth name and handle data. This allows nearby devices to find and connect to it.  So in this post, we show how to make JBL Flip 6  discoverable. Then you can join it to phones, tablets, computers, and smart speakers to get better sound.

How to Make JBL Flip 6 Discoverable: Step by Step

1. Turn On the JBL Flip 6

Firstly, power up the speaker by rapidly pressing its  Power  button.

2. Press the Discovery Mode Button for Two to Three Seconds

Secondly, to be able to locate your speaker on your source Bluetooth device, place it into discovery mode. So to do that, press and release the the Discovery Mode button.

When you press this button, the speaker makes a plucking guitar pairing sound. Plus, the Discovery Mode button lamp starts fast blinking white.

At last, while the Power button is flashing, you should  see the JBL Flip 6 on any in-range device. E.g. Our speaker here we call  “JBL Flip 6”, and we see it on our iPad.
