JBL Charge 4 Charger Adapter Specs

The JBL Charge 4 BT speaker does not come with an AC charger adapter.  But you can recharge the speaker with just about any standard full-power USB 2 charger.  Plus, we found that the adapter that came with our Charge 3, also works well on the JBL Charge 4.  Thus that’s the adapter that we’ll describe in this piece.

Moreover, this power supply can fully recharge the speaker’s built in power bank in less than five hours.   So here, we give the JBL Charge 4 Bluetooth speaker USB AC charger adapter specs that will yield this same performance.  Then finally, we show how to charge this portable Bluetooth speaker with it.

Firstly, this USB AC adapter is bright orange in color, as pictured next. Further, it features one USB A female power output receptacle, and retractable AC input prongs too.

Secondly, you connect the AC power supply and speaker as shown next. Plus, the speaker has two USB plugs inside its sealed port panel.  Furthermore, one port is a USB A female power input port and the other is a micro USB port.  Use the USB-C input to recharge the speaker.

Lastly, this adapter works well for recharging many of the other JBL Bluetooth speakers, such as the JBL Flip, Clip, and Charge series models.  Plus, this is a typical rated USB charger.  So many other charger brands and models will work in this application as well.
