JBL Clip 3 Low Frequency Mode, Extra Bass

We currently know of no way to increase the extra bass response of the JBL Clip 3 poolside speaker, by turning on and off its low frequency mode. But if this were possible, it would make the speaker vibrate more. It would also  add a surprisingly large bass quality to the content playing.  Indeed if they ever added this feature, it might work something like as follows…

How to Switch JBL Clip 3 Low Frequency Extra Bass Mode OFF and ON – Proposal

We propose that by default, the Clip 3 would have its extra bass mode turned ON, like some of the other speakers in the JBL line.  Specifically, this mode would add a bit of extra treble and lots more low frequency bass to the audio output, like switching on the Loudness control on 1970s stereo systems.

How to Turn JBL Clip 3 Extra Bass Low Frequency Mode OFF,  and then ON Again, Proposal

Find the Bluetooth button on the speaker right side, and the Volume Down (-) button on the upper left front, as shown in the two pictures above.

You could turn this extra bass mode OFF by pressing and holding in the Volume Down (-) and Bluetooth buttons for about ten seconds, until the pilot lamp on the top blinks a few times, as shown in the next picture.

Next, to turn low frequency mode back on, again, you would press and hold the Volume Down (-) and Bluetooth buttons in until the light on the top flashes a few times.  You would release the buttons when that happens.

Then, after a short pause, the status light would go back a solid glow. After that, the  extra bass mode would be ON once more.
