On a full charge, the JBL Flip 6 can play for up to twelve (12) hours from a single charge. This is due to its 4,800 mAH, 3.6 volt, 17.28 watt-hour lithium polymer battery. But when you play it extra loud, with lots of bass, you will see shorter playing times. We’ve seen this speaker run dead in around nine hours when run at full volume. So to get the most charge time from it, power conservation is key. Only play it as loudly as you need to.
The Play Time Shrinks Over Time
Now perhaps you own this speaker over a few to several years. So you may notice that the time it plays from a single full charging decreases as it ages. This is normal for devices such as this one, that rely on lithium ion polymer batters. But by exercising the battery, you can slow this wearing out. To work the JBL Flip 6, run the battery dead.
