JBL Go 2 Firmware Update

Povers the JBL Go 2 firmware update procedure.  However, we know of no way to upgrade the software on this particular speaker. Why not?  Because we find  no firmware downloads for this unit on the JBL web site.  Plus, we see no details for this in the included manuals.

So it looks like JBL feels that this speaker works well enough with the original firmware. Thus they do not offer a (perhaps) confusing and complicated update procedure for such a low priced speaker.  Moreover, in our tests, the speaker is quite reliable.  E.g. We see no bugs, lost connections, distortion, or any other unusual behaviors.  Therefore a firmware update is likely unnecessary. Plus, as far as we can tell, this is impossible for the average consumer to perform.

Finally, a no-update option makes this speaker even simpler to use and enjoy. Plus it may ensure the unit’s continued reliable operation for many years to come.
