Therefore firmware updating is likely unnecessary. Thus, as far as we can tell, updating this speaker is impossible for the average consumer to perform.
Finally, a no-update option makes the JBL Go even simpler to use and enjoy. Indeed it’s nice to see a speaker that works well, right out of the box, and will likely never need any updates to fix problems. So if that’s the sort of hassle-free operation you’re looking for in a Bluetooth speaker, then the JBL Go is certainly for you. It’s a virtually zero-maintenance unit.
