JBL Xtreme 1 Charger Specs, Specifications

The JBL Xtreme 1 speaker comes with an AC charger, discussed here.  Furthermore, this charger fully recharges the speaker’s built in power bank in roughly four hours.  Moreover, the Xtreme 1 plays for up to fifteen hours at average volume levels before needing another charge.  So, to help you find a suitable replacement charger if you ever need one, we give here the JBL Xtreme 1 charger cord specs. We also show how it’s used to charge this hefty yet portable Bluetooth speaker.

Firstly, the JBL Xtreme 1 charger cord is black in color, as shown next. It also has one barrel type DC  power output plug. Additionally, a detachable AC power cable connects the power converter box to a standard wall outlet.

Model Number: NSA60ED-190300.  Input: 100-240 volts, 50-60 Hertz, 1.5 Amps Max.  Output 19 volts DC, 3 amps Max. Positive center on the DC output plug.  Made in China.  UL Listed E312159 A.V. Power Supply.

Energy verified.  Manufacturer: Shenzhen JingQuanHua Electronics Co. LTD.  Other numbers found on the label: SU10551-15001.  MSIP-REM-JQH-NSA60ED-195305.  A/S 82-2-523-5504.

About the Attached Cables

Next, this charger cord comes in two pieces.  The first is the DC cable that’s permanently attached to the power supply box.  Then the next is an AC “cheater” style cord that plugs into the power converter box.

The AC Part of the Charger 

Next, we show the AC input plug on that box.  Now this is a pretty standard, non polarized AC cord.  Now this means that you can insert the cord here either way.  Also, the standard 110 volt AC plug on the other end of the cable is non polarized.

The end of the AC cord that plugs into the power supply is about five eights of an inch long and a quarter inch wide, as shown next.

Also, the standard 110 volt AC plug on the other end of the cord is non polarized. Now to the other connector in this power adapter.





The DC Output Part of the JBL Xtreme 1 Charger Cord

Furthermore, the part of the DC output jack the goes inside the speaker measures around 0.3 inches or 8 mm long, as shown next.

Furthermore, this DC plug has a notch near the tip to enhance secure holding when connected to the speaker, as seen in the last picture.  Plus, this plug is about three sixteenths of an inch wide, or roughly 5 mm.  But we claim no degree of precision on these measurements.

How to Use the JBL Xtreme 1 Charger

Finally, to use this adapter, you connect the cord and speaker together via the DC cable and its barrel connector for recharging the internal batteries as shown next. Now the Xtreme has one DC input plug, labeled Power, inside its port panel just beneath the orange zipper.  See this port pointed out by the green arrow in the next picture.

Use this input to recharge the speaker with this accessory charger cord.
