Logitech Wonderboom Speaker How to Connect

This post covers the Logitech Wonderboom Speaker and how to connect it with common Bluetooth devices. So first, start with this speaker OFF (all dark LEDs). Then, follow along to pair it with most any source device.  So in this demo, we show how pairing works on our iPad Air mobile computer. But like procedures work for iPhones, iPods, and Android phones and tablets as well.

Logitech Wonderboom Speaker How to Connect: Step by Step

1. Visit the Home Screen on your iPad Air

Firstly, press the Home button to get to the  Home   iPad page.

2. Find the iPad Settings App

We find ours on the second page of the  Home  screen on our tablet.

An iPad Home screen. Showing the -Settings- app.

3. Bring up the Settings App

Then, tap the Settings app icon.

Then the source device displays the first page of its  Settings  screen.

An iOS -Settings- screen with Bluetooth ON. Showing the -Bluetooth- item.

4. Go to the Bluetooth Settings Page to Continue with Logitech Wonderboom Speaker How to Connect

Next, tap the  Bluetooth  item.

Then our  Bluetooth Settings screen appears. Note that the Logitech Wonderboom Speaker is currently OFF. So it does not show in either the  My Devices  or  Other Devices lists yet,  Why?  Because we’ve not yet paired it with this iPad before.  Furthermore, the speaker is not yet transmitting its BT connection info.

The -My Devices- list. Showing no Logitech Wonderboom Speaker present.

5. Turn On your Logitech Wonderboom Speaker

Then, turn on the WB by quickly pressing its  Power  button.

The Logitech Wonderboom Speaker top view. Showing the dark -Power- button.

The unit then comes on.

The glowing -Power- button.

6. Start Pairing Mode

So to see this speaker on your iPad Air, place it into pairing mode. For that, press and release the Bluetooth button.

The -Bluetooth- button.

When you press this Pairing button, the speaker makes a distinctive sound several times. Plus, a lamp in this button starts rapidly flashing white.

7. Find your Logitech Wonderboom Speaker on your Source Device

See the picture next. We find ours.

The iOS -Bluetooth Settings- page. Showing the  Logitech Wonderboom Speaker as discovered.

8. Connect with your Logitech Wonderboom Speaker

Then tap the speaker in the  Other Devices  section of the  Bluetooth Devices  list.

Your iPad Air then pairs with the Logitech Wonderboom Speaker (appears as “WONDERBOOM” in this demo).

The  Bluetooth Settings  screen then changes to display something like the following.

The Wonderboom dpeaker showing as paired.

Note that the Wonderboom dpeaker now appears as connected, as circled inside the green oval in the last picture.

9. Done with Logitech Wonderboom Speaker How to Connect !

Finally, we have now successfully paired our Logitech Wonderboom Speaker with our iPad Air iOS device.  So audio from that device now plays on this speaker.
