UE Roll Charge Time for Full Charge

Here, we list the UE Roll charge time that it takes for fully charging this speaker.  You charge the UE Roll mini Bluetooth speaker via the covered micro USB charging port. And to get the fastest charge time and fullest charging when the speaker runs low on juice, it’s best to use a medium to high current USB charger. Also, exercise the battery, and do not leave the speaker on the charger once it has fully recharged. Finally, do not allow the speaker to sit around, dead, for very long.

UE Roll Speaker Charge Time: How Long to Fully Charge

According to the specs for this speaker the time it takes to charge the UE Roll Bluetooth speaker is five and a half (5.5) hours.

How Long it Plays Per Full Charge

On a complete charge, the UE Roll speaker can play for up to nine (9) hours per charge.  But when you play it extra loud, especially with bassy music, you will see its power lasting a bit less.  We’ve had this speaker run dead in around eight hours when played at louder volumes. So to get the longest charge time from it, power saving is your friend.  That is, just play it only as loudly as you need to, to hear it well all around your listening space.  Not too loud, and do avoid driving the speaker to distortion, as this can adversely drain the battery.

The Charge Time Gets Smaller as the UE Roll Gets Old

If you own this speaker over a few to several years, you may notice that the time it plays from a single charge shrinks as the speaker ages.  This is normal for devices like this one, that rely on lithium ion batteries.

But by exercising the battery, you can slow this charge fall off.

To exercise the UE Roll, run the battery dead and charge it again every three to six months when not in use.

Also, we avoid leaving the speaker plugged into a charger once it has reached full charge.  Right after the charging lamp completely goes out, disconnect the speaker as soon as you can, to avoid overcharging it and damaging the battery.

And finally, when the UE Roll runs dead, do not leave it dead for very long, as this can shorten battery life.  Charge it again, as soon as you can to keep its battery healthy.
