Wonderboom 2 Firmware Upgrade: Not Supported
So perhaps they feel that the speaker works well enough with the original firmware. Thus, they chose not to offer a (likely) confusing firmware upgrade routine.
Also, in our tests, the speaker proves rock solid. We find no bugs. Nor do we ever see any lost connections, distortion, crashes, or anything else bad. So firmware upgrade are likely not necessary. And as far as we can tell, doing that is probably impossible for the average consumer.
This is a very simple yet great sounding Bluetooth speaker. So its makers did not wish to make harder to use with firmware upgrades. In fact, the people that buy this speaker do not want to fool around with these sorts of procedures. Indeed they just want something that works right out of the box. Plus it should keep working without bother, for its entire service life. Well, that’s what they get in this speaker.
