Honeywell RTH9580WF WiFi Smart Thermostat, displaying the Home screen.
We’ve reviewed several Honeywell thermostat models on this site. We’ve covered some of the baseboard heat models. Further, we have t-stats up through the late model Honeywell smart WiFi remote t-stats. Below, find a summary and picture of each one tested so far. We’ll indeed add more as we review more.
First of all, the Honeywell RLV310A t-stat provides non programmable yet silent control of baseboard heaters. It has no clicking relays or micro switches. So this is a great choice for in bedrooms. It also works well in libraries, classrooms, and other places where you must have quiet.
Further, the RLV310A keeps a tight room temp, with very small temp swings between OFF and ON temps. For more details, see our review here.
Next, the RLV430A provides all-electronic, solid state control of your electric baseboard heating. It also has rapid on-off switching for low temp swing.
Then too, it offers 5-2 mode. E.g. Five week days in one program group, and the two weekend days in the other.
Further, it never sticks in the ON or OFF position like some cheaper bi-metal t-stats can.
Finally, the front cover hides the advanced controls. Read our complete review here.
This smart Honeywell thermostat model is also one of Honeywell’s first full-color touch screen units. They offer seven-day scheduling in four programmable daily periods.
Also, this model lets you program each day’s schedule separately.
Furthermore, you can remotely set this t-stat via the Honeywell Total Comfort Connect web site.
This model features quiet running and low temperature swings when set up the right way.
Finally, its settings appear in plain English on the high contrast full-color touch screen. So there’s no need to look up setting codes when changing a setting. See our complete review here.
The RTH8580WF is one of Honeywell’s first t-stats that you can control remotely via their Total Comfort Connect web site.
It also has separate program for each of the seven days. Or, you can set them in one or more groupings.
Further, this WiFi t-stat sports a large green touch screen with black characters.
It offers lots of settings and modes. Plus, it controls most types of furnaces and central AC systems offering 24-volt control circuits.
Honeywell thermostat models like this one you can still buy online. Read our full review of it here.
The Honeywell RTH7600D programmable thermostat provides 7-day scheduling of daytime and night time temperatures.
Also, its bright green touch screen offers quick access to all schedules and settings.
The users guide steps you through installing it and setting it up. The guide also shows how to connect this t-stat to WiFi and program it.
Finally, the guide runs through accessing this model through the Total Comfort Connect web site. Read our review of the RTH7600D here.
The T87N1026 has a built-in spring-type thermometer with a big, high-contrast scale.
Also, it has a huge temperature wheel with notches around its edge for more true turning. Further, when you turn the dial, it clicks in two-degree bumps. Indeed, this is a great thermostat for low-vision folks.
Further, the TT87N1026 controls most any low-voltage heating / cooling system. See our full review here.
At last, we’ll add more models to this piece as we review them.
