Smart WiFi Instant Pot front panel controls.
This piece describes button locations on Smart WiFi Instant Pot. So we list each button location by column.
Note that this post covers only button locations. Thus it does not describe what each button does, nor how to use it. So for that, please see our Instant Pot WiFi Pressure Cooker Buttons Guide that covers the whats and hows of each button on the Instant Pot Smart WiFi electric pressure cooker.
The front panel on the Instant Pot smart WiFi electric cooker has eighteen membrane style raised buttons.
In this section, we give the location of each button and control on the WiFi instant Pot pressure cooker.
We find this column on the far left edge of the control and display panel. Furthermore, the LCD display is to the right of the top three buttons in this column.
Firstly, the Soup Broth button is the topmost one in the first column of six buttons. It’s to the right of the upper left corner of the control panel, above the Meat / Stew button, and to the left of the LCD screen. Note that there are no buttons above this one, and none to its left.
Next, we find the Meat / Stew button to the left of the LCD screen, near the left edge of the buttons panel, just above the Bean / Chili button, and just below the Soup / Broth button. Note that no buttons are to the left of this Meat / Stew button. But the Multigrain button is to the right, on the other side of the LCD display.
Then we see the Bean / Chili button is just to the left of the display, again near the left edge of the control panel. We find it just above the Cake button, and just below the Meat / Stew button. Again, no buttons are to the left of this Bean / Chili button. But the Porridge button is to the right, on the other side of the display screen.
Next, find the Cake button to the left of the LCD screen and one row below. It’s also near the left edge of the control panel, just above the Slow Cook button, and just below the Bean / Chili button. Once again, no buttons are to the left of this Cake button, and the Steam button is to the right, on the other side of the display screen.
Find the Slow Cook button is just to the left of the Down (-) button. Once more, it’s near the left edge of the control panel, two rows below the LCD display. It’s also found just above the Saute’ button, and just below the Cake button.
Finally, for the last button in the first column, find the Saute’ button to the left of the Delay Start button, near the left edge of the control panel. It’s just above the bottom of the buttons panel, and just below the Slow Cook control. No buttons are to the left. In fact, Saute’ is in the lower left hand corner of the control panel.
We find this column of three buttons one column to the right of the first column, underneath the left corner of the LCD screen. This column has no buttons above the display screen.
Firstly, this button is the top one in this second column of three buttons, just under the LCD screen. It’s also one to the right of the Cake button, and just above the Down (-) button. Note that no buttons are above this button, and the Keep Warm button is one position to the right.
Next, find the Down button just to the right of the Slow Cook button, and just to the left of the Up button. Furthermore, it’s just above Delay Start, and just below Pressure Level.
Lastly for this column, this button is the third one down, just under the Down (-) adjustment, and three rows underneath the LCD display. Moreover, it’s one to the right of the Saute’ button, and just above bottom edge of the control panel. Note that no buttons are below it, and the Cancel button is one position to the right.
This three button column is, again, one column to the right of the second column, underneath the right corner of the LCD display. Additionally, this column has no buttons above the display.
First, this button is just under the LCD screen. It’s also one to the right of the Pressure Level button, and just above the Up control. Again, note that no buttons are above this Keep Warm button. Also, the Steam button is one spot to the right.
Find the Up (+) button just to the right of the Down (-) button. Keep Warm is above it, and Cancel is under it. Finally, the Yogurt button is one position to the right.
And lastly, this button is the farthest one down in its column, under the Up (+) adjustment, and again, three rows plum below the screen. It’s one position to the right of the Delay Start button, and just above bottom edge of the front panel. Again note that no buttons are under it, and the Pressure Cook control is one button to the right.
This six button column is the last one on the control panel, one column to the right of the third column. No more columns to its right. It covers the entire right edge of the control panel.
The Rice button is to the left of the upper right corner of the control panel, above the Multigrain button, and to the right of the display. Again, no buttons above this button, and none to the right.
The Multigrain button is the right of the LCD screen, near the right edge of the buttons panel. Find it in the column to the right of the display, and just beneath the Rice button. No buttons to the right, and the Meat / Stew button is to the left, on the other side of the display.
The Porridge button is again just right of the screen, nearest to the right edge of the panel. It’s just above the Steam button, and just below the Multigrain button. No buttons to its right, and the Bean / Chili button is on the other side of the status screen from it.
The Steam button, is one column right of the Keep Warm button, again, near to the right side of the control panel, one spot above the Yogurt button, and one spot below the Porridge button.
The Yogurt button is near the right edge of the buttons panel, just above the Pressure Cook button, and just below the Steam button. The Up button is one position to the left.
This button, in the rightmost buttons column, is close to the right edge of the control panel, just below the Yogurt button. No buttons are under this one, and the Cancel control is just to its left. This control is nearest to the bottom right hand corner of the panel.
This control is on the Instant Pot lid, near the rear, on the top, to the left of the steam pressure float button, behind the lid handle, at roughly the eleven o’clock position,
Finally, this valve is, again, found on the Instant Pot lid, near the back, on the top, to the right of the steam pressure release valve. It’s also behind the lid handle, at about the one o’clock position.
At last, that about covers all the buttons. More later.
