Explains the pair Logitech Wonderboom together routine. Then two of them play the same audio from the same source device. In this scenario, we use one Logitech Wonderboom 1, and one Logitech Wonderboom 2. But you can also pair two Logitech Wonderboom 1’s, two Logitech Wonderboom 2’s.
Press and release the Power button on the first one, and await the power-ON sound.
Then, press and release the Power button on the second Logitech Wonderboom, and again, wait for it to come on.
In this demo, we’ll first pair the Logitech Wonderboom 1 with our iPad Air tablet. If you’re not sure how to do this, then see our How to Pair Logitech Wonderboom Speaker post for details.
Next, press the middle (Play / Pause) area of the Logitech Wonderboom you just paired. Then hold in until that speaker makes a connect sound and the pairing lamp starts quick-flashing. Here, the first Logitech Wonderboom is the original one.
Next, press and release the middle area of the second speaker. In this case, ours is the second version of the Logitech Wonderboom (Wonderboom 2).
Then we get a ready-to-pair sound. Also the pairing light just above the center button blinks briefly. Then once this speaker links with the first Logitech Wonderboom, the pairing lamp starts glowing steadily.
Your two Logitech Wonderbooms now share a connection with the same source device. Thus, when you play audio on that device, you’ll now hear it through both Logitech Wonderboom speakers.
Note that each Logitech Wonderboom provides stereo sound, even when you pair two of them together. So each speaker plays in stereo whether or not it pairs to another Logitech Wonderboom. Thus it’s not the case that the first Logitech Wonderboom plays the left channel and the second plays the right. Both Logitech Wonderbooms play both channels, in stereo, in fact.
To break the link between Logitech Wonderboom units, simply power down the second one. After that, the first one (the Logitech Wonderboom that you connected with your source device) keeps playing.
Or, powering down the first one will also break the pairing between it and the second speaker. Thus the second one stops playing. But this also breaks the link with the source device. So shutting OFF the first Logitech Wonderboom stops BOTH from playing. But the second one will still be ON until you turn it OFF, even though it’s playing nothing.
