Logitech Squeezebox Boom, successfully playing an Internet radio stream.
We describe here the US version of the AC wall adapter for the Logitech Squeezebox Boom internet radio. So it has removable but non retractable AC prongs and a six-foot long cord. Plus, its larger size and weightier feel hints of a “heavy duty” class of power supply. Furthermore the square shape has thin width that fits into a power strip for “wall wart” supplies without blocking nearby outlets. But this adapter is kind of big. So it can block up to three outlets in a “standard” power strip.
Yet it silently delivers about 30 watts of energy to the Boom. It also offers decent voltage regulation. Thus this allows the radio to play deep, driving bass and dynamic range. Advantages of this supply include….

The DC output plug, the metal barrel part, is about 10 mm long. Also it has an outer diameter of 5 mm. The plus lead hole at the top of the barrel plug is roughly 3 mm across.
Finally, the adapter plugs into the rear panel of the Squeezebox Boom.
