While repairing rocking chairs and bikes, we bought this 16-piece Husky socket and ratchet set. Why? Because it has popular socket sizes for fasteners found around the house, and these came in quite handily in this repair project.
Firstly, this universal socket wrench set cost around $30. Moreover, it comes with a “forever” guarantee. It also has a nearly all metal build, with a hardened shank on the wrench itself.
Moreover, the unit features snap-in places for all pieces in the included case, that tightly secure them. So this prevents loss. It further eases putting away this tool when you’re finished with it.

We paid roughly $30 for ours at Home Depot, and did not mind doing so. Given how well this ratchet set is built we may never need another.

Actually, our copy of this universal socket set was manufactured in Taiwan.
All parts of this Husky socket set are made of practically all metal, and so, can conduct electricity. So avoid working on live circuits with this tool.
However, be careful not to drop these pieces on stones or concrete too many times, because you could mar or dull the silvery chrome finish on them.
But where ratchets are often used, dropping them is common. But this set is cheap enough to replace, should it get too scratched up. Then again, how shiny the chrome is does not affect how well this tool works. The sockets work great, dull or bright.
