You charge the Wonderboom 2 Bluetooth speakers via the covered micro USB charging port. And to get the quickest Wonderboom 2 charging time, and the fullest charging when the speaker runs out of power, be sure to use a medium to high current USB adapter. Also, exercise the battery, and do not leave the speaker on the charger once it has fully recharged.

Wonderboom 2 Speaker Charging Time: How Long for Full Charging

According to the specs for this speaker the time it takes for charging the Wonderboom 2 wireless speaker is just under three hours (2.6 hours to be exact).

How Long it Plays for a Full Charge

On a complete charge, the Wonderboom 2 can play for up to thirteen (13) hours, when using a BC1.2 compliant charger. But when you play it loudly, especially with extra bass, you will see somewhat shorter lasting power. We’ve seen this speaker run dead in around eleven hours when played at louder volumes. So to get the longest charging time from it, power saving helps a lot. Just play it only as loudly as you need to, to hear it well throughout your listening space, and you will see longer play times.

The Use Time Gets Smaller as the Wonderboom 2 Ages

If you own this speaker over several years, you may notice that the time it plays from a single charge shrinks as the speaker gets older. This is normal for devices like this one, that rely on ion lithium batteries.

But by working the battery every now and then, you can slow this charge fall off.

To exercise the Wonderboom 2, run the battery dead and charge it again every three to six months when not in use.

Also, we suggest that you not leave the speaker plugged into a charger once it has reached full charge. Right after the charging lamps completely go out, disconnect the speaker as soon as you can, to avoid overcharging it and degrading the battery.
