You charge JBL Xtreme 2 wireless speakers conveniently via the hidden DC input barrel connector style charge ports. And to get the shortest charging time and fullest charge when the JBL Xtreme 2 goes dead, be sure to use a high power USB power adapter.
JBL Xtreme 2 Charging Time: How Long to Fully Recharge
According to the specs for this speaker the time it takes to charge it is three hours and thirty minutes (3.5 hours) when you use the included charger accessory.

JBL Xtreme 2 Charging Time: How Long it Plays Per Single Recharge
On a full charge, the JBL Xtreme 2 can play for up to fifteen (15) hours due to its 10,000 MaH, lithium ion polymer battery. But when you play it with extra umph, you will see markedly shorter play time. We’ve seen this speaker run dead in around twelve (12) hours when run at party level volumes. So to get the most charge time from it, power conservation is important. So, only play it as loudly as you need to.

The Music Play Time Per Charging Shortens Over Time
If you own this speaker over a several year period, you may notice that the time it plays from a single charge decreases as the speaker ages. This is normal for devices like the JBL Xtreme 2, that rely on lithium ion polymer batteries.
But by exercising the battery, you can slow this decline. To work out the battery, run it dead and charge it again every three to six months when not in use.
We also suggest that you not leave the speaker plugged into a charger once it is fully charged. Once the charging lamps completely go out, disconnect the speaker right away to avoid overcharging and battery damage.
And finally, do not allow the speaker to sit around for months on end with the battery completely drained, as this can also shorten its life. Make sure it always has at least half-full charge if storing for any length of time.
