We’ve tested various versions of Soft Scrub cleanser with bleach, including this Commercial Solutions potion, for many years. What we found is that it is quite the versatile, well cleaning, but not too harsh liquid cleanser. It works well anywhere you need gentle yet scouring powers, like in the kitchen and bathroom. But this cleaner can also remove touch stains from counters, tables, and floors. Plus, it leaves them germ free to boot.
The product comes in a larger (36 ounce) bottle than the home version of the product. Plus, it smells less strongly of bleach. But it works well in…
- Hospitals.
- Industry.
- Schools.
- Day-care.
- Hotels.
- Doctors offices.
- Any place where germ free is a must.
Benefits, Features, Advantages, and Pros of Soft Scrub Cleanser with Bleach
Bleach Scent Fades Fast
The scent lingers not. Soon after you rinse this disinfectant cleanser down the drain, its smell disappears as well.
Kills Most Dangerous Bacteria
These include Staphylococcus aureus (Staph), salmonella choleraesuis, pseucomonas aeruginosa, athletes foot fungus (Trichophyton mentogrophytes), and streptococcus pyogenes (strep).
Cleans Stubborn Baked On, Dried On Food
It works particularly well on pots and pans, at removing baked and burned on foods. But avoid scrubbing nonstick cookware with it. Indeed, the mild abrasives may strip off the no-stick coatings along with the dirt.
Soft Scrub Cleanser with Bleach is Not Too “Bleachy”
Has a soft bleach aroma. So you can leave windows closed windows and turn off exhaust fans while cleaning with it. No strong fumes.
Great for Cleaning Gunky Commode Bowl Stains
We most use this product in bathrooms. It cleans…
- Soap scum.
- Hard water rings from bathtubs, sinks, and toilet.
It’s also great in the kitchen. It gets out stubborn counter top tea and coffee stains, scouring the sink, and cleaning stoves.
Great Disinfectant
Works particularly well at removing the most common bathroom dirt and scum as well as disinfects those surfaces. It’s disinfecting yet thick consistency makes this product very well suited for thoroughly cleaning commodes. Just squeeze 4 ounces onto the inside of the bowl, well above the water level. Then, use toilet brush to evenly spread the cleanser evenly around the above-water bowl surfaces, including underneath the rim. Then, leave it sit in the bowl for at least ten minutes, and then flush to rinse away. Swash the water around with the brush, to rinse and disinfect it too.
Soft Scrub Cleanser with Bleach is Nearly Scratch Free
We’ve never scratched any bathroom or kitchen surface with Soft Scrub Commercial Solutions Cleanser with Bleach. Yet it has effectively cleaned almost every surface upon which I’ve applied it.
Sponges and Rags
Works just as well when applied with a rag as it does when applied with a sponge. I’d rather use a rag actually, as rags tend to be cheaper to come by than sponges.
Clean Rinsing
Flushes away completely, although not always quickly, depending on how much you applied originally. The fine, gritty stuff in this cleaner can require lots of water to completely rinse down the drain.
Recyclable Bottle
Just rinse the bottle well inside and out, before recycling. After all, you don’t want handlers not spill this on clothing.
Soft Scrub Cleanser with Bleach is Biodegradable
Soft Scrub Cleanser with bleach contains no phosphorous.
Low Cost
Haven’t bought it lately though. Why? Because we have many bottles of it around years ago. Indeed, we like stocking up with products we love.
Has Bleach
We like that they put a little bleach into this product. Bleach helps pump up its disinfectant traits. Bleach also makes cleanser work better as a stain-removing cleanser.
Disadvantages, Cons, Limitations, Problems, and Concerns of Soft Scrub Cleanser with Bleach
Can Indeed Scratch
if you rub too hard while cleaning certain surfaces. So,use less scrubbing pressure where you can. Plus, test surfaces prior to cleaning, in hidden areas, to see how much this cleaner might scratch. We’ve never seen it scratch glass, though it can rough up stainless steel.
May Harm Some Surfaces
Be especially careful cleansing fiberglass, enamel, aluminum, plastics, and delicate-painted surfaces. For these finishes, use sparing amounts of cleaner, and rub softly and for not too long.
Soft Scrub Cleanser with Bleach can Mark Clothing
Be careful not to drop this cleaner on your clothing or other non color fast surfaces. Why not? Because it could cause color fading where it lands. So take all safe handling steps with this cleanser that you would with straight liquid bleach.
Needs Hard Shaking Before Use
An almost pasty solution, like of school time glue. So you must hard shake the bottle for a half-minute or more to mix up the cleanser and the bleach.
Hard to Find
You may have to buy this cleanser at a commercial supply store or wholesale club.
