How to Reset JBL Go 3

Shows how to reset a JBL Go 3 wireless speaker, to restore it to its default factory settings.  Resetting returns this unit to factory default state.  Plus, a full reset clears any earlier paired Bluetooth devices from the speaker’s memory. Erasing these stops this speaker from pairing to any nearby Bluetooth devices after the reset.

Further, you might reset to make it ready or sale or re-gifting. Or jus reset to stop it from pairing with devices you no longer wish to use with it.

The speaker makes a rising electric guitar strum sound when it powers up. The speaker is ready for use after this sound finishes.

Now at this time, the Go 3 may or may not pair with a device. This depends on whether there are any in-range devices that know about this speaker.  But whether it pairs or not, reset works the same, as we describe below.

3. Press the Volume UP and Bluetooth Buttons Together

Next, find the Bluetooth and UP Volume buttons.  The BT button is on the right side panel, beside the Power button. We also find the Volume UP button on the top panel of the unit to the right.
