We currently know of no way to affect the bass response of the JBL Clip 2 by turning on and off its bass mode. But if this were possible, it would makes the speaker vibrate more. Plus it would add a remarkable extreme bass quality to the content playing. But if they ever added this feature, it might work something like as follows…
How to Turn On JBL Clip 2 Bass Mode
Firstly, by default, the JBL Clip 2 would have its extra bass mode turned ON, as most of the other speakers in the JBL line do. Bass mode would also add a bit of treble to the audio output so that the increased bass does not completely swamp the treble. This would be like switching on the Loudness control on older stereo systems.
Find the Bluetooth button on the speaker right side, and the Volume Down button on the lower left side, as shown in the two pictures above.
You could turn bass mode OFN by pressing and holding in the Volume Down (-) and Bluetooth buttons for about ten seconds, until the pilot lamp on the top blinks a few times, as shown in the next picture.
Secondly, to turn bass mode back to where it was before, you would press and hold the Volume Down and Bluetooth buttons in until the light on the top flashes a few times. Then you would release the buttons after that.
Finally, after a short pause, when the status light would go back a solid glow, and bass mode would go back to what it was once more.
