An adequate JBL speaker Flip 5 charger is on that supplies at least 2.4 amps at 5 volts (14 watts). Note that currently, JBL does not include a compatible USB charger with this speaker. So, you’ll need to either have one already or buy one.
Also, the speaker has a USB-C charging port. So be sure to have the right USB-C cable on hand.
Furthermore, the maximum current this speaker accepts is 3 amps, and this gives the fastest charging performance. But to get that, you’ll need a charger with a USB-C output port, rather than the USB-A style connector. So, get a USB C charger that can deliver 15 watts (5 volts at 3 amps). This gives the most rapid charging.
Which JBL Speaker Flip 5 Charger Works Best?
We’ve successfully charged our JBL Flip 5 Bluetooth speaker with the chargers, listed below. Note that all these chargers feature a USB A type female connector. So, you can use these AC adapters with the black USB-C cable that comes with the JBL Flip 5. Or, if your charger only has a USB-C output port, you’ll need to get a USB-C to USB-C cord.

USB-C Chargers that Work Well with the JBL Flip 5

In the meantime, this group of chargers can recharge the JBL Flip 5 at the maximum power (15 watts). Plus none of these is very expensive. But for most of them, you will need a USB-C to USB-C cable to use them with the Flip 5.

3. JBL Speaker Flip 5 Charger: GE Jasco Y14 11307 USB Wall Charger
This charger is available at Amazon.com. See an equivalent charger’s product page at Amazon.com, here. At less than twelve dollars, this adapter is small enough to fit in any portable tech bag. 4. JBL Charger for the Flip 5
