Many chargers meet or come close to the JBL Flip 5 charger specs. These supply at least 2.4 amps at 5 volts. Note that currently, JBL does not include a compatible USB charger with the Flip 5. So, you’ll need to either have one already or buy one. So we list several example chargers below.
Also, the speaker has a USB-C charging port. So be sure to have the right USB-C cable on hand.
Furthermore, the maximum current this speaker accepts is 3 amps, and this gives the fastest charging performance. But to get that, you’ll need a charger with a USB-C output port, rather than the USB-A style connector. So, get a USB C charger that can deliver 15 watts (5 volts at 3 amps). This gives the most rapid charging.
Which Charger Works Best at Closely Meeting the JBL Flip 5 Charger Specs ?
We’ve successfully charged our JBL Flip 5 Bluetooth speaker with the chargers, listed below. Note that all these adapters feature a USB A type female connector. So, you can use these AC adapters with the black USB-C cable that comes with the JBL Flip 5. Or, if your power supply only has a USB-C output port, you’ll need to get a USB-C to USB-C cord.

USB-C Wall Adapters that Easily Meet the JBL Flip 5 Charger Specs

3. The GE Jasco Y14 11307 USB Wall Charger Meets the JBL Flip 5 Charger Specs — Almost

4. A JBL Charger for the Flip 5
