Here, we show Echo Sub reset button location for the Amazon Alexa subwoofer. Further, you press and hold the button to hard reset the Sub.
For more details on how the button works, see our Echo Sub Reset Instructions, How to Reset Alexa Woofer post.
Echo Sub Reset Button Location: Where to Find It
To hard reset, find the Action button. E.g. We point at this button with the green arrow in the next picture, It is in the back of the sub-woofer, near the bottom.
Note that the Action button, which doubles as the reset button, is the only button on the unit. Further, this button has a status light in its center, that among other things, tells you what’s happening during subwoofer reset.
After Pressing Reset
Reset finishes within ten seconds after depressing the Action button. Furthermore, the speaker goes into Setup mode after it has erased WiFi connection and account data in its memory. So do this when selling giving away the Echo Sub. Or, another option is to run through the setup routine again and link the subwoofer with your preferred Amazon account and WiFi network. Finally, after setup, and if all went well, the sub woofer should sound anytime you ask the associated speakers to play some audio source.
