Currently we know of no way how to turn on the extra bass mode of the JBL Go 3 Bluetooth speaker, or if it even has such a mode. But if this were possible, it would make the speaker vibrate much more. Moreover, it would add a louder bass quality to the playing content. Thus if they ever added this, it could work something like the following…
How to Turn On JBL Go 3 Bass Mode – Proposal
First of all, by default, the Go 3 would have its super bass mode turned ON. This is like many of the other speakers in the JBL line. This mode would add more treble and lots more low frequency bass to the audio output, like switching on the Loudness control on vintage stereo systems.
For example, find the Bluetooth and Volume Down buttons on the top of the speaker, as we show in the picture above.
Then, you could turn this extra bass mode ON by pressing and holding in the Volume Down (-) and Bluetooth buttons for about ten seconds, until the pilot lamp on the front blinks a few times, as shown in the next picture.
Then to turn bass mode back to what it was before, then again you would press and hold the Volume Down and Bluetooth buttons in.
Next, keep holding until the light again flashes a few times.
Finally, you would release the buttons after that.
